1966 Morris Mini-Minor

Automobiles

In 1966 the Mark III facelift of the Wolseley Hornet and Riley Elf brought wind up windows and fresh air vents, and the Heinz food company commissioned 57 convertible Hornets from Crayford for a competition in Britain. The Morris Mini-Minor itself continued as the Mark I, made by the British Motor Corporation, which in that year became part of British Motor Holdings. The Mini-Minor had been in production for seven years.
