1959 Morris Mini-Minor

Automobiles

The Morris Mini-Minor was launched with the Austin Seven on 26 August 1959, after the production version of the Mini had been demonstrated to the press in April 1959. BMC marketed the car under its two main brand names, Austin and Morris, and the Morris version took the name Mini-Minor. By August several thousand Minis had been made ready for the first sales, and BMC won the Dewar Trophy for the design.
