The Morris Fourteen was released in 1936, a year after the other Series II cars, as a four door saloon with a Morris QSDM six cylinder side valve engine. The 1,818 cubic centimeter engine was rated at 14.07 horsepower and came with a choice of three speed or four speed gearbox. From the summer of 1936 Morris supplied the six cylinder Fourteen, which clashed with the series II Twelve that had been promoted as performing like a 14 horsepower car.
