The second generation Proudia returned after an eleven year gap as Mitsubishi's own version of the second generation Nissan Fuga, with sales starting on 26 July 2012. A stretched hybrid version was sold as the Dignity. The Proudia used a Mitsubishi specific grille and appearance items and its trims matched those of the Fuga, and for the first time it was offered with all wheel drive. Its model years run from 2012 to 2016.
