2001 Mitsubishi Proudia

Automobiles

The Proudia and Dignity were discontinued in 2001, after only fifteen months on sale, when financial difficulties forced Mitsubishi to streamline its range and reduce costs. Combined sales fell far short of the estimate of 300 a month, and just 1,227 vehicles were made in three years, while the Hyundai Equus proved more successful and stayed in production until 2008. It used MacPherson struts for the front suspension and a multi-link suspension for the rear wheels.
