The first facelift model debuted on 9 January 2020 with the same trim levels as the pre facelift model in one market, and on 17 September 2020 with a new Exceed variant in another. On 24 August 2020 the Rockford Fosgate Black Edition variant was reintroduced in Indonesia, with the same specifications as 2019. The Pajero Sport, Montero Sport and Shogun Sport nameplates replaced Challenger from the third generation in 2015.
