The entry level GLS was released in Indonesia a year after the launch. The Department of Trade and Industry in the Philippines opened an investigation panel to probe the accidents and complaints about sudden unintended acceleration of the Montero Sport from 2010 to 2015. The second generation was in its third model year. The Pajero Sport is a body on frame mid-size SUV based on the Triton pickup truck. In the Philippines the Pajero Sport is officially named Montero Sport.
