A van version of the Minicab was introduced in 1968, available in four different equipment levels, alongside the cabover pickup truck. The van used the same air cooled two stroke 359 cc ME24 engine as the truck and the Minica sedan, and it was a commercial vehicle that was in practice also used as a small wagon, and sold in Japan at the Galant Shop chain. The Minicab was sold in Japan at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop.
