1985 Mitsubishi Lancer

Automobiles

A station wagon and van variant joined the Lancer lineup in 1985 to replace the original 1973 model, and was available until 1992. In Malaysia the Lancer was made available after Mitsubishi had sold all its shares in the Malaysian carmaker Proton, which marked the return of Mitsubishi to the Malaysian market. The fourth generation Lancer Fiore was a front wheel drive car, with the Mirage as its twin. In Japan the Lancer was sold at Galant Store dealers and the Mirage at Car Plaza.
