Retail sales in Europe began in December 2010 and the i-MiEV price started at 29,153 euros before sales tax or any government incentives. Sales to the public in Hong Kong began in May 2010. International sales to Asia, Australia and Europe started in 2010, and the car was launched to the wider Japanese public on 1 April 2010. Rebadged variants of the i-MiEV are also sold by PSA as the Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero, mainly in Europe.
