The Delica of 1985 was in its seventh and last year of the second generation, the van and truck line that brought overall width to the 1,690 millimeter limit, and a four wheel drive option from 1982 built on the Pajero chassis. After the third generation arrived, the truck version of the second generation continued to be built until 1994. The Delica was originally based on a cabover van and pickup truck introduced in 1967, also called the Delica.
