With the 2015 model year update in Europe, the Mitsubishi 4N1 engine was replaced with PSA's DV6C engine. North American, Singaporean, Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Philippine and Australian vehicles get the larger 4B11 2.0 liter and 4B12 2.4 liter engines starting from 2015. Further changes occurred in mid 2015 for the 2015.5 model. The RVR nameplate is only used in Japan, South Korea and Canada, and the car is also sold as the Outlander Sport in several markets.
