Roewe iMAX8

The Roewe iMAX8 is a full size minivan built by SAIC Motor under the Roewe marque since 2020 and the first minivan the brand has made. It was previewed by the Vision-iM concept at Auto Guangzhou in November 2019 and a more detailed iM8 concept at the Roewe Brand Day in May 2020, then revealed in production form at Auto China in Beijing in September 2020. It rides on SAIC Motor's new SIGMA platform, and the petrol model uses a 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine of 172 kW with an Aisin eight speed automatic. An iMAX8 EV launched in August 2022 with a 180 kW motor, a 90 kWh battery and a claimed range of 550 to 570 km, and a plug-in hybrid iMAX8 DMH followed in 2024.
