The Nissan Quest is a minivan that Nissan marketed from the 1993 to 2017 model years. It succeeded the Japanese-designed Nissan Van and Nissan Axxess and was the first Japanese-brand minivan developed specifically for the North American market. Under a joint venture with Ford Motor Company the Quest was built alongside the Mercury Villager, and for its first two generations it shared the Ford VX54 platform, with Nissan supplying the powertrain, a Maxima-derived 3.0 litre VG30E V6. Those two generations were assembled by Ford at its Ohio Assembly plant in Avon Lake. The third generation, after the joint venture ended, moved to the Nissan FF-L platform and was built by Nissan at Canton, Mississippi; the fourth was a widened Nissan Elgrand developed for the United States and China and built at Nissan Shatai in Kanda, Fukuoka. Nissan ended sales after the 2017 model year as minivan sales declined.
