Nissan Elgrand

The Nissan Elgrand is a minivan manufactured by Nissan Shatai for Nissan since 1997, available in four generations with the model codes E50 (1997 to 2002), E51 (2002 to 2010), E52 (2010 to 2026) and E53 (2026 to present). The E50 Elgrand was also configured and produced as a light commercial vehicle from 1998 to 2017. Its main competitors are the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire and the Honda Odyssey. Engines have included the petrol VG33E and VQ35DE and the diesel QD32ETi and ZD30DDTi, and the E51 used 2.5 litre or 3.5 litre V6 VQ-series engines with a five-speed automatic and Tiptronic shifting, while later trims carried a 2.5 litre inline-four QR25DE or a 3.5 litre V6 VQ35DE. An Elgrand VIP version replaced the Nissan President VIP when that car was discontinued.
