Nissan Cube

The Nissan Cube is a mini MPV produced by Nissan between 1998 and 2019. It was first sold only in Japan, where it was exclusive to Nissan Red Stage dealerships, and it reached North America from 2009 to 2014 and Europe from 2009 to 2011, while the Japanese market car lasted until December 2019. It was a slightly larger, load carrying alternative to the Nissan Micra hatchback and shared the Micra platform and a 1.3 litre inline-four engine in its first generation. Its angled and curved surfaces, resembling a cube, were previewed by the Nissan Chappo concept at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show. North American cars used a 1.8 litre four-cylinder, European ones a 1.6 litre petrol or a 1.5 litre dCi diesel, and an e-4WD trim added an electric motor to the rear wheels.
