The Citroen C8 is the second-generation Eurovan large multi-purpose vehicle that Citroen sold from 2002, replacing the Evasion. It was launched in July 2002, a month after its Peugeot 807 twin, and was built at the jointly owned Sevel Nord factory in France alongside Fiat and Lancia siblings. The C8 followed Citroen's newer naming scheme of the letter C followed by a number roughly matching the size of the model. Compared with the first generation, all exterior dimensions grew, with an increase in length of almost 30 centimetres that enlarged the interior, a more rounded look and a dashboard with centrally mounted gauges. The middle and third-row seats gained fore and aft sliders, and a three-seat bench was available in the third row. The Citroen and Peugeot versions received light facelifts in February 2008 and in 2012, and production of them ended in June 2014.
