The Citroën C3 Picasso is a five-door mini MPV that Citroën built from 2008 to 2017, the small-car version of the C3 and successor to the Xsara Picasso. It first appeared at the 2008 Paris show as the Drooneel concept and was assembled at the PSA plant in Trnava, Slovakia, its only factory, going on sale in France in February 2009. It uses a modified C3 and Peugeot 207 platform and was meant to rival the Opel Meriva and Renault Modus. Trims in Spain were LX, SX and Exclusive, and the Exclusive adds roof rails and a folding front passenger seat. A 1.6 litre petrol engine gave a top speed of 188 km/h, and the 2015 update brought a three cylinder PureTech petrol and a BlueHDi diesel. Euro NCAP gave it four of five stars. A different Brazilian car carried the same name from 2011.
