The Countryman received a facelift in 2014, and the changes to the US 2014 model year range included the omission of the interior Centre Rail feature from the back seats. The first generation was built at Magna Steyr's Graz plant under contract, and was in its fifth year on sale, a compact crossover that was the largest vehicle in the Mini range at the time. The facelift gave the Countryman new lights and details at the mid point of its generation.
