In March 2013 the 250,000th Countryman was produced at Magna Steyr's Graz plant in Austria, and a Cooper ALL4 model was added to the range in July 2013. The first generation Countryman was the first of the BMW era Minis to be manufactured entirely outside the United Kingdom, and in 2013 it continued to be built primarily at Graz under contract by Magna Steyr. By then the Countryman had passed a quarter of a million units since its launch in 2010.
