In 2017 the F54 Clubman was in its second full year, an estate that the Mini line up listed below the Countryman, sold in the Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper D, Cooper SD, ALL4 and John Cooper Works variants. It was engineered and manufactured by BMW and sold under the Mini marque, with front or all wheel drive, built at Plant Oxford. The tailgate was split in two sections, in the manner of the barn doors of earlier cars.
