For 1967 Montclair hardtops were once again the same as those on the big Ford, though now based on the 1967 luxury LTD series. The Montclair remained the mid level full size Mercury, a four door sedan and two door hardtop on the 123 inch wheelbase with coil springs at all four wheels, powered by the 390 cubic inch V8, and the Marquis was the top of the range. It shared much of its body with the big Ford. The Montclair was a mid level full size Mercury sedan with coil springs at all four wheels.
