1956 Mercury M-Series

Automobiles

The Ford medium duty F series, from the F 500 up, was part of the Mercury M series, so the Mercury trucks of 1956 included medium duty models as well as pickups. They followed the development of the Ford F series, differing largely in exterior trim, and sold in Canada. The Mercury M series was a line of trucks that Ford of Canada sold through Lincoln Mercury dealers, rebadged from the Ford F Series. It was sold mainly in Canada and followed the Ford trucks closely, differing largely in exterior trim.
