Automobiles

The 1974 Bobcat was the first model year, a rebadged version of the Ford Pinto sold as a Canada only model by Lincoln Mercury dealers. It was offered in the same body styles as the Pinto and distinguished by an egg crate grille and chrome headlamp bezels, with modified double width tail lamps on the sedan and Runabout models. The Bobcat was offered as a two door sedan for a limited number of years in Canada. The Bobcat was built at Edison Assembly in New Jersey, St. Thomas Assembly in Ontario and San Jose Assembly in California.
