In a partial improvement on 7 June 2005 the Verisa lineup became two grades, the L with the leather package as standard and the C with a driver armrest, and fuel economy rose to meet the 2010 standard plus five percent. A special edition, the Brown Collection, based on the L with a dark brown interior, went on sale on 21 December 2005. The Verisa was only available in Japan, though used Verisas were exported to international markets.
