2022 Mazda MX-30

The MX-30 EV went on sale in Canada in February 2022, in GS and GT trims, and was launched in Malaysia on 29 June 2022 in Mid and High trim levels. Consumer Reports criticized the small battery, with an EPA estimated range of only about 100 miles, but praised its fit and finish and called it a fun little handler. The MX-30 was powered by a 35.5 kilowatt hour battery and a 105 kilowatt electric motor. Up to 80 percent charge can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes with 40 kilowatt DC charging.
