The CX-6e follows Kodo design with a body color painted grille, a contrasting black painted roof and optional digital side mirrors, and a 26.45 inch wide display on the dashboard. It was one of two battery electric vehicles that Mazda and Changan make together, the other being the EZ-6, and it uses the EPA1 platform. It was previewed by the Mazda Arata Concept of 2024. Its model years run from 2025 to 2026.
