The Mazda CX-6e, known in China as the EZ-60, was introduced in April 2025 at Auto Shanghai and was officially launched in China on 26 September 2025. It was previewed by the Mazda Arata Concept of the 2024 Beijing Auto Show and developed and produced by the Changan Mazda joint venture. After opening, it received 10,060 fully refundable pre orders in 48 hours, and surpassed 30,000 on 24 June. The CX-6e uses the EPA1 platform which is also used by the EZ-6.
