The CX-4 of 2017 was in its second year on sale in China, offered with a choice of two Skyactiv straight four engines, a 2.0 liter making 158 hp and a 2.5 liter making 192 hp. The 2.0 liter was front wheel drive only, with a six speed manual or the Skyactiv Drive automatic, and the 2.5 liter offered all wheel drive with a six speed automatic as standard. The CX-4 was positioned above the Mazda CX-3. The CX-4 is offered with a choice of two Skyactiv straight-four engines.
