The Nissan GT-R is a Japanese sports car whose current generation, internally designated R35, launched in 2007 as the successor to the earlier Skyline GT-R line. Built around a twin turbocharged V6 engine and sophisticated all wheel drive, it earned the nickname Godzilla for its track performance relative to far more expensive rivals.
