The Nissan Fuga is a mid-size luxury sedan that Nissan produced from 2004 to 2022, built on a wider, stretched-wheelbase version of the Nissan FM platform. When the Cima and the President were discontinued in August 2010 it became Nissan's flagship, and in 2022 it was discontinued alongside the Cima, leaving the Skyline as Nissan's only sedan in Japan. In North America and Europe it was sold as the second and third generation Infiniti M and the Infiniti Q70, the flagship sedan of Infiniti from 2006 to 2019. First shown as the Fuga Concept at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show, the F51 replaced the long-running Cedric, Gloria, Cima and President, and the name comes from the Italian word for fugue. The first generation Y50 launched in Japan on 14 October 2004 on the Skyline platform, with XV and GT trims standing in for the Cedric and Gloria, and a Fuga was imported to China from 2005 to 2007.
