The Dodge 400 was a mid-size personal luxury car that Dodge sold for the 1982 and 1983 model years. It was the Dodge counterpart of the Chrysler LeBaron and bridged the gap between the Aries and the larger 600. It was sold as a two-door coupe and convertible and a four-door sedan, and with its Chrysler counterpart marked the return of American-brand convertibles to mass production. It shared the K platform with the Aries and was known as a Super K car with premium content. Power came from an 84 horsepower 2.2 litre inline four, with a 92 horsepower 2.6 litre four as an option, and the car wore an open Pentastar ornament.
