The Premiere of 1958 to 1960 was among the first Lincolns produced at the new Wixom plant, on a unibody platform, Lincoln's first since the Lincoln Zephyr. It was placed between the Lincoln Capri and Continental in trim level, with a traditional roof treatment instead of the Continental's reverse angle power rear window. It was one of the largest cars ever made, longer than the contemporary Cadillac Sixty Special. Its model years run from 1958 to 1960.
