The tenth generation Continental introduced a new front end design theme for Lincoln, a slightly recessed rectangular grille instead of the earlier bow wave split grille. It had electrically latched doors, marketed as E-Latch, and its transmission was controlled by PRNDS buttons to the left of the touch screen. The trims were Premiere, Select, Reserve and Black Label, the last with coordinated packages such as Chalet, Thoroughbred and the blue Rhapsody Blue. This was the second model year of the generation, 2018.
