1964 Land Rover Series

Automobiles

The Series IIA had settled into its long production run by 1964. Buyers could choose a body anywhere from a soft-top short-wheelbase model up to a five-door wagon, with the 2.25-litre petrol or diesel engine, and the forward-control version launched in 1962 was also available. The sources used here tie no new technical change to this particular year, but the model is documented as being in production, with the 2.6-litre petrol engine at that stage reserved for export forward-control vehicles.
