2010 Land Rover Discovery

Automobiles

In 2010 an armoured Discovery with B6 ballistic protection was announced, offering protection from grenades and small arms fire while being indistinguishable from the standard LR4. Irish buyers could order a Commercial van, built on the manual XE 2.7 and the automatic HSE 3.0, from 1 January 2010. In 2010 a Discovery took victory in the Rallye Aicha des Gazelles. The following model year, revealed late in 2010, dropped the 2.7-litre engine in favour of 3.0-litre TDV6 and SDV6 diesels.
