In 2025 Stellantis discontinued the Jeep Wrangler 4xe from the United States market, along with the Dodge Hornet, the Chrysler Pacifica plug in hybrid and the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, citing poor sales and the loss of federal tax credits. The Wrangler JL otherwise carried on in its refreshed 2024 form. The Wrangler JL continued at Toledo in its refreshed form, with the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 and the 6.4 liter V8 in the Rubicon 392 as engines, and the plug in hybrid gone from the United States.
