2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The SRT received a modest 5 horsepower bump for 2016, in part due to a reflash of the powertrain control module. The 75th Anniversary Edition models, based on the base Laredo and the mid level Limited, were offered in 2016 with a new seven slot front grille. A shifter design that was the subject of a 2016 recall was discontinued in 2016 in favor of a more traditional design. It was built at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit.
