For the 2008 model year production commenced on July 16, 2007 and concluded on July 11, 2008. A mid cycle restyling was launched on September 1, 2007, with a revised front clip, new tire and wheel combinations and high intensity discharge headlamps with auto leveling. The 5.7 liter Hemi V8 engine also got a power boost, to 360 horsepower, and the 3.0 liter CRD diesel V6 was discontinued mid year in 2008.
