Having been fully redesigned for the 1999 model year, the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee received minimal changes. The electronic Vehicle Information Center was moved from below the radio to above the windshield, and was standard on all 2000 and up models. The base Laredo D Package was discontinued, so the Laredo now included the Electronic Vehicle Information Center with an overhead console as standard equipment.
