The Honda Zest was released in 2006 as a kei car mechanically identical to the fifth-generation Honda Life. With a turbocharged engine, three cylinders and four doors, it was the first kei car that could be ordered with side curtain airbags. It was available in two distinct versions, Zest and Zest Sports.
