The Honda Z360 received a water cooled engine and a facelift in December 1971, again making 36 PS at 9,000 rpm. The Z featured coil sprung and independent front suspension and leaf springs on a beam axle rear suspension. Only the Z600 was sold in Europe, since the Z360 was considered underpowered, and 918 cars were sold there, most in France and Switzerland. A 1971 Z600 coupe known as Evil Tweety set a speed record on August 19, 2008 among stock bodied production cars with 750 cc engines.
