In November 2001 the Honda Odyssey was given a mild restyle. The MQ grade joined the regular four cylinder range between the M and L grades, and Honda introduced a sportier Absolute model between the regular and Prestige models. The car gained larger Honda emblems at the front and rear, tail lights with clear lenses in place of the amber indicators, and a redesigned front grille and bumper. The Absolute was available with the F23A 2.3 liter four cylinder as standard or the optional 3.0 liter J30A V6.
