A larger engined variant of the Honda N360, the N600, was marketed through 1973. Honda developed the N600 with the N360 to appeal to export markets such as the US and Europe, where motorways called for higher top speeds. All models used a straightforward two box design that complied with kei car dimensional regulations, though vehicles with the 401 cc and 598 cc engines exceeded the kei engine displacement limits and were largely intended for markets outside Japan.
