The second-generation Honda Mobilio, chassis DD4 and DD5, revived the Mobilio nameplate as an MPV model based on the Brio platform, designed mainly for the Indonesian market and developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific. Honda R&D Asia Pacific developed it, and it first appeared as a prototype at the 21st Indonesian motor show in Jakarta on 19 September 2013; production began at the Karawang plant of Honda Prospect Motor on 15 January 2014 and sales in Indonesia on 25 January 2014.
