Honda built the L700 for only eleven months from October 1965, sharing the S600 roadster's mechanicals and using a 687 cc bored out version of that car's inline four, which made 52 PS at 7,500 rpm through twin side draft carburettors. Only a four-speed manual transmission was available, the front suspension was independent MacPherson struts and the rear was a conventional leaf sprung live axle. Two models were built, the basic LA700 and better-equipped LM700, and 12,763 L700 were built. Each model year has its own page.
