Honda Insight (second generation)

Automobiles

The second-generation Honda Insight, chassis ZE2 and ZE3, was a 5 passenger, 5 door dedicated hybrid vehicle on an all new platform, later also used for the Honda CR-Z, with the fifth generation of Honda's Integrated Motor Assist hybrid powertrain. A concept version appeared at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, and Honda launched the car first in Japan, in February 2009, and then on March 24, 2009 in the United States. It was the cheapest hybrid on sale in the US, and in the UK, where it launched in April 2009, it was the lowest priced hybrid on the market. It was facelifted for 2012, and Honda ended production after the 2014 model year. Each model year has its own page.
