The 2023 Honda HR-V was the first model year of the separate North American HR-V, based on the platform shared with the eleventh generation Civic, which went on sale on 7 June 2022. Outside China the battery electric version of the third generation HR-V is sold as the e:Ny1 in Europe and as the e:N1 across Asia and in New Zealand, while in China Guangqi Honda produces it as the ZR-V and Dongfeng Honda as the HR-V.
