Honda HR-V (first generation)

Automobiles

The first-generation Honda HR-V, internal code GH, began as the J-WJ concept, one of four J-Mover Series concepts from Honda that were shown at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show and again at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show. It used the Honda Logo as its base and was built in Suzuka, Japan; from 1999 to 2006 it sold in Europe, Japan and chosen Asia Pacific markets as a three door and a five door, at first with four wheel drive and a 1.6 liter engine only. It was sold in Japan through Honda's Verno dealerships to a young demographic. Each model year of this generation has its own page.
