Honda Freed (first generation)

Automobiles

The first-generation Honda Freed, chassis GB3, GB4 and GP3, is equipped with a 1.5 liter engine of 118 horsepower, the same engine as is used in the Jazz and City, but with more torque. In Japan it was available as a petrol model in G or G Aero grade and also as a hybrid variant using i-VTEC with Honda's IMA hybrid technology. In 2010 Honda released the soul twin brother of the Freed, the Freed Spike, for Japanese markets only. The generation was launched in Indonesia on 29 June 2009, the second country after Japan, and in Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong in the following years. Each model year has its own page.
